Its all real nothing more nothing less
Hello there! I'm Hussein Hage-Hassan, a 23-year-old Canadian Lebanese blending the rich cultures of Lebanon and Canada. I'm currently diving deep into the fascinating world of New Media and Web Development at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). My life’s pretty much a mix of tech, creativity, and a bunch of fun stuff on the side.
I really love photography, snapping life's moments as they come. Nature's my go-to chill spot, always exploring and soaking in the beauty. When I'm not out there, I'm hitting volleyball courts for some competitive fun or diving deep into video games, sometimes going late into the night with my buddies. And yeah, I've definitely binged my way through more Netflix shows than I can count, totally losing track of time.
It's all about striking the perfect balance between work, passions, and leisure, wouldn't you agree?
Now, talking about where my family comes from - Baalbek, Lebanon. This place is far more than a mere location to me; it's a vital piece of who I am. Baalbek is the backdrop to the beginning of my family's journey, surrounded by history that's been around forever, really making it the heart of our heritage.
Growing up with Lebanese roots, I've inherited a rich history, close family ties, and a strong community spirit. These influences have deeply shaped me, teaching me to value cultural diversity and traditions. Now in Canada, where my family and I have settled, I've blended these values into my life, embracing my heritage and who I am in this diverse setting.
Capturing the essence of the natural world through photography has been my passion since I was a child. I'm particularly drawn to the vibrant and subtle intricacies of wildlife and landscapes. From the serenity of a duck nestled in snow to the intense gaze of a parrot, each image I take is a celebration of nature’s diversity. My aim is to bring viewers into the scene, to the crisp icicle dripping in the morning sun, or a bird perched quietly amongst the branches. Through my lens, I hope to share the quiet majesty and fleeting moments that nature generously reveals.
